Warwick is located 130km southwest of Brisbane in the Darling Downs. The town was first established by the Leslie Brothers in 1847 and originally to be called ‘Cannington’. The railway connected the town in the early 1870’s and led to a boom in the town. A tributary of the Condamine River, the Rosenthal Creek, passes through the town. The Main Range National Park is located to the northeast of Warwick and offers spectacular waterfalls and rainforest.
