The Temora Rural Museum is a wonderfully presented display of the changes of Australia, from the colonial period to today. Temora’s gold mining past is recognised with a replica of a 7.3kg gold nugget. Aviation buffs from all over the country travel to Temora to visit the Aviation Museum. The Museum is special in that all of the historic aircraft on display are still in airworthy condition, with the museum hosting several public flying days each year. It is a fantastic opportunity to see these historic aeroplanes which have all played a key role in Australia’s military aviation history live in action.
