One of our Saab 340B+WT aircraft visited Longreach on a recent Australia-wide air charter; our crew got this great image of the aircraft in front of the Qantas Founders Museum. The Qantas Founders Museum in Longreach is an award winning museum and cultural display that tells the story of the airline through displays, exhibits, replica aircraft and an impressive collection of genuine artefacts. The charter flight commenced in Sydney and went all of the way up to the Kimberley, visiting Broome and Kununurra, before heading home via Ayers Rock and Birdsville, for the Birdsville races.
